If your property is being reviewed, you do not need to submit a request and no action is required.

The Assessor will send you a Value Notice in July.  The notice will show the Taxable Value determined by the Assessor’s review.

This Taxable Value will be used to calculate your taxes due in December 2011 and April 2012.

The assessment practices survey program is one of the State's major efforts to promote uniformity, fairness, equity, and integrity in the property tax assessment process. Under this program, the State Board of Equalization (BOE) periodically reviews every county assessor's office and publishes a report of its findings. These reports reflect the BOE's findings in its periodic surveys of the 58 county assessors' offices throughout the State.
