Adopted Housing Element
2010 Housing Element Adopted

On June 22, 2010 the Board of Supervisors adopted the Calaveras County 2010 Housing Element. This document replaces the existing 2005 element and is now the guiding document for all matters related to housing, particularly affordable housing. The document contains goals, policies and implementation programs that commit the county to various actions that forward development and retention of affordable housing throughout the county. The document contains an extensive background section with information on county demographics, household income, employment, housing supply, housing demand, the County’s regional housing needs allocation, homelessness, etc.
