Calaveras LAFCO has Bylaws, Policies and Procedures, Guidelines for compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act and Municipal Service Review Guidelines for Municipal Service Reviews and Sphere of Influence Updates. LAFCO Bylaws Adopted - September 19, 2005 Calaveras AB2838 Memo This report describes the provisions of the Cortese-Knox-Hertzberg Local Government Reorganization Act of 2000 which became effective on January 1, 2001. Calaveras Policies and Standards Adopted July 18, 2005 - LAFCO is charged with applying the policies and provisions of the Cortese-Knox-Hertzberg Act to its decisions regarding annexations, incorporations, reorganizations, and other changes of government.
