Fire Started: 8/19/01 at 2:15pm Cause: Equipment use: weed removal equipment Acres: 4,820 Contained: 60% Injuries: 1, back strain, poison oak exposure, eye injury Fatalities: None Total Personnel: 1,610 Structure Damage: 2 residences, 10 out buildings Evacuations and Road Restrictions: Provided the firefighting efforts go as planned, evacuated residents will be allowed to return home at 7:00 p.m. this evening. Only property owners and residents will be allowed back in. Residents should be prepared to show proper identification. Some residents may find themselves without power as PG&E crews are in the process of replacing burnt poles and equipment.
